Tim and I are here at World Venture headquarters in Colorado. Yesterday morning we met with the interviewing committee for almost 2 1/2 hours. After we answered more than 30 challenging questions, the committee unanimously voted to accept us as appointees. That means it’s official! We’re now with World Venture!
The next week and a half will be filled with training for the field and orientation to the organization. We’re really enjoying the 7 other couples and their children. Tim and I (along with everyone else) have done our share of babysitting each other’s children. It’s good parenting training for us, too! I’ll try to post more frequently over these next couple of weeks.
