We were delighted to meet Andy’s girlfriend Catherine from Quebec. As we enjoyed our family breakfast in this picture, she encouraged us with her testimony. We were amazed to hear how she first heard the gospel told in the Inuit language, translated for her into English!
Though the sky threatened rain, we kids donned our hiking gear and set off for Eaton Canyon. On the way, Amber and Tim recited Robert Frost’s “The Road Less Traveled,” (a very fitting poem for trail we traversed). We also discovered a nearly frozen tarantula guarding a bush of poison-oak. We made sure that Titus kept a safe distance away!
At the end of the trail we were rewarded with a beautifully, refreshing waterfall. Tim accidentally dropped his sweater into the pool while attempting to use it as a sling! To be sure, we all laughed a great deal that day!
